Candidate filing for the Honea Path Town Council begins on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 12:00 PM and closes on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM.

📄 How to File as a Candidate

File at Town Hall if you are interested in running for an office:

All candidate applications must be signed in front of either a South Carolina Notary Public or the Honea Path Municipal Clerk. Once submitted, they will be forwarded to the Anderson County Board of Voter Registration & Elections.

🗳️ Additional Candidate Requirements

✔️ Valid Voter Registration Card
✔️ Valid Photo ID
Both must list the same address.

✔️ Residency Requirement: You must live in the ward for which you are filing to run.

✔️ Campaign Signage: If you plan to put up campaign signs, they must be properly labeled and paid for on the same day you file to run.
