On Monday, February 23, the Honea Path Town Council approved proceeding with the Municipal Building Renovation Project.

The Town of Honea Path is formally requesting sealed bids from qualified and licensed contractors for renovations to the Municipal Building located at:

30 North Main Street
Honea Path, SC 29654

This renovation project represents an important investment in maintaining and improving town facilities to better serve our residents, businesses, and visitors.

📌 Project Overview

The Town is seeking experienced contractors capable of completing the outlined scope of work in a professional, timely, and compliant manner. The selected contractor will be expected to meet all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including permitting and code requirements.

A detailed scope of work will be provided during the required site walkthrough.

🔎 Mandatory Site Walkthrough

All interested contractors must schedule and attend a site walkthrough prior to submitting a bid. This walkthrough is required to ensure a full understanding of the project scope, existing conditions, and expectations.

📬 Bid Submission Requirements

All bids must be:

• Submitted in a sealed envelope

• Clearly labeled: “Municipal Building Renovation Bid”

• Delivered to:

Town Clerk’s Office
204 South Main Street
Honea Path, SC 29654

⏰ Deadline for Submission:
All sealed bids must be received no later than 12:00 Noon on April 13, 2026.

Late submissions will not be accepted.

Sealed bids will be publicly opened during the regularly scheduled Honea Path Town Council Meeting:
