Honea Path, SC — On Sunday, April 26, the Town of Honea Path joined community members and church leadership at Honea Path First Baptist Church to celebrate a special milestone with a “Giants Fall” ceremony and groundbreaking for a new children and youth addition.

The Mayor and members of Town Council were in attendance to show their support for this important project, which reflects continued investment in the town’s future and its youngest residents. The planned addition will provide dedicated space for children and youth programs, fostering growth, learning, and community engagement.

“This is a meaningful day for our community,” said town officials. “Projects like this strengthen the foundation of Honea Path by supporting families and creating opportunities for the next generation.”

The ceremony marked the beginning of construction and symbolized both progress and unity within the community. Once completed, the new addition will serve as a welcoming environment for children and youth to gather, learn, and grow.

The Town of Honea Path congratulates Honea Path First Baptist Church on this exciting development and looks forward to the positive impact it will have for years to come.
