The Town of Honea Path is pleased to announce the completion of a land transfer with Honea Path First Baptist Church for the future home of a soccer field in our community.

This transfer is an important step forward in expanding recreational opportunities in Honea Path. With the property now available for the project, the Town will be able to pursue grant funding and other opportunities to assist with the development of the site.

Future improvements may include field construction, lighting, infrastructure, and other amenities needed to create a safe and welcoming soccer facility for local children, families, and teams.

The Town of Honea Path extends its sincere appreciation to Honea Path First Baptist Church for working with the Town and helping make this opportunity possible. Partnerships like this play an important role in helping our community grow and provide more opportunities for residents of all ages.

While there is still work ahead, this land transfer represents an exciting beginning for the future soccer field.

The Town looks forward to providing additional updates as planning, funding, and development of the property continue.
