The Honea Path Municipal Court announces that all Traffic and Criminal Court cases scheduled for September and October 2026 have been postponed until further notice due to the passing of Judge James D. Green, Jr.

Letters were mailed on September 1, 2026, notifying individuals whose cases have been postponed. Once cases have been rescheduled, a new court summons will be mailed with the updated court date.

Those who need to pay a fine or make a scheduled payment under an existing payment plan may continue to do so. The Municipal Court office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

Payments may also be left with the Water Department using exact cash or a money order. Please include your name, address, date of birth, phone number, and ticket or warrant number so the payment can be applied to the correct case. A receipt will be mailed on the next business day after the Clerk of Court returns to the office.
