❤️ A Life-Saving Investment in Honea Path
The Town of Honea Path extends its sincere appreciation to former South Carolina Gamecocks quarterback Connor Shaw for donating two Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to Honea Path Recreation today.
This donation has been in the works for several weeks, and while the presentation was delayed due to shipping, we are excited to officially welcome these two life-saving devices to Honea Path Recreation.
After surviving a sudden cardiac arrest in September 2025, Connor turned his experience into a mission to help others. Through Heart Huddle (HRTHUDL), he is working to place life-saving AEDs in communities and locations where every second can make a difference.
The addition of these two AEDs will strengthen emergency preparedness at Honea Path Recreation and provide greater access to critical equipment for our athletes, coaches, families, staff, and visitors.
We are grateful to Connor Shaw, Heart Huddle, and everyone who helped make this donation possible. Thank you for investing in the safety and well-being of the Honea Path community.
❤️ These devices represent more than preparedness—they represent the possibility of another tomorrow.
