October – December 2026 Municipal Court Cases
The Honea Path Municipal Court announces that all Traffic and Criminal Court cases scheduled for October- December 2026 will continue as scheduled.
Letters were mailed on September 1, 2026, notifying individuals whose cases have been postponed due to the passing of Judge James Green. All cases have been rescheduled from September and moved to October or November and new summons have been mailed. If you have not received a new Court Summons, please contact the Clerk of Court to verify your case(s) have been rescheduled.
Those who need to pay a fine or make a scheduled payment under an existing payment plan may continue to do so. The Municipal Court office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
Payments may also be left with the Water Department using exact cash or a money order. Please include your name, address, date of birth, phone number, and ticket or warrant number so the payment can be applied to the correct case. A receipt will be mailed on the next business day after the Clerk of Court returns to the office.

The Town of Honea Path Municipal Court hears cases involving traffic violations, criminal misdemeanors, and ordinance violations that occur within the Town of Honea Path limits. The Court also schedules arraignments, bond hearings, pre-trial hearings, preliminary hearings, bench trials, and jury trials as required.
If you receive a citation issued by the Honea Path Police Department for a misdemeanor, criminal offense, traffic violation, or municipal ordinance violation within the town limits, your case will be handled through the Honea Path Municipal Court.
Court sessions are held in the Courtroom located within the Watkins Community Center – Town Hall, 204 South Main Street, Honea Path, SC 29654.
